They are both shy but warm up easily, MYLA is still a little more fearful. We don’t know how these two little men ended up on their own but what we do now is that they need to be rescued now!! I am a male crm tabby and white domestic sh mix. The shelter thinks I am about 11 MONTHS old.
I came in the shelter as a STRAY on 12/19/2015 from NY 11435, owner surrender reason stated was STRAY. I came in with Group/Litter #K15-043021.

12/19/15 17:34 Myla is a cream tabby with white that appears to be 1 year old. She was found as a stray in Finder’s backyard. Myla is very shy and attempts to run when touched. She approaches stranger that offer soft cat food. During intake Myla was very fearful. She hid in her carrier and when counselor attempt to pet her gently. She attempted to flee. She did not allow being collar or photographed with backdrop.

Reaction to assessor: Myla was hiding when I approach cage When spoken quietly: Myla continues to hide Reaction to door cage opening: Myla remains motionless Reaction to touch: Myla tries to flee Try picking cat up: Myla is not tolerant of this type of handling, very afraid and tries to flee. Behavior Determination: Experience No Child At the time of the assessment Myla was displaying fearful behavior; does not seek attention from the assessor and becomes alert when the kennel was open. Remains motionless as I started to get closer. I was able to pet him and interact with him in a limited way. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents with no children.
