10/13/2015 PET PROFILE MEMO
10/13/15 19:12 Mulberry was found outside of a building. Her finder reports that she was friendly and social with her and her 14 year old daughters. She followed them inside and allowed them to pick her up, put her in a carrier, and bring her here. Mulberry had a soft, relaxed body while we pet, scanned (-), collared, picked up, positioned for pictures, and put her into a carrier. She was easy to handle and didn’t resist/retreat/vocalize.

10/16/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Mulberry looks neutral in her cage when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Mulberry remains lying down, body posture is relaxed, alert with normal shape eyes. Reaction to touch: Mulberry accepts a stroke, however she becomes agitated with the touch and began to dogde the assessor’s hand. Then she would sniff the hand, with front paw slightly lifted off the ground (ready to swipe if needed). Placement determination: Experience /no child tolerates attention and petting but may be stressed in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in a calm, quiet home with experienced cat parents and without children.
