09/24/2015 PET PROFILE MEMO
09/24/15 11:34 BASIC INFO Muggles’ family found him as a stray 5 years ago when he was a kitten. They surrendered him because some of the family moved away and the rest of the family doesn’t have time to care for him. He’s declawed on his front paws. SOCIALIZATION Muggles is shy with new people for a few minutes. He lived with teenagers and spent time with younger children. He’s relaxed, affectionate, and tolerant with them. He plays exuberantly with adults and children. He lived with a large dog and was relaxed, affectionate, playful, and tolerant with him. He’s never bit/scratched any people or animals. BEHAVIOR Muggles cries in the car. He doesn’t mind when someone puts him in a carrier or wakes him up. He struggles when picked up/held. FOR A NEW FAMILY TO KNOW Muggles’ family describes him as friendly, affectionate, playful, quiet, and medium energy. He spends much of the day resting on the couch or window sill. He likes to play with balls. Muggles lived inside and slept with his owner. He ate wet Fancy Feast and dry Friskies cat foods. He’s littertrained, doesn’t have accidents, and uses uncovered and hooded litterboxes with clay litter. He doesn’t scratch anything. INTAKE Muggles was tense during handling. He winced and his ears pointed to the sides while I scanned (-) and collared him. He allowed me to pick him up and position him for pictures. He crouched and meowed on the table. He allowed me to pick him up and put him in his kennel. He didn’t resist, retreat, or vocalize (except meowing).
