I am a male org tabby domestic mh mix. The shelter thinks I am about 12 WEEKS old.

I came in the shelter as a STRAY on 11/09/2015 from NY 11692, owner surrender reason stated was STRAY.

11/09/15 12:16 Mufasa is a 3 month old orange tabby with a possibly eye infection. Mufasa was found wandering loose in a yard. During intake Mufasa was a bit timid and tried to run away from counselor. After Mufasa warmed up to counselor he allowed to be pet and held.

11/13/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPERIENCE
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Mufasa looks tense in his cage when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Mufasa remains crouched position at the back of the cage, body held tightly. Reaction to touch: Mufasa hisses at first, but once touched he began to slowly lean into the assessor’s hand and appreciates petting on the head and body. However, still remains unsure with his surroundings. Placement determination: Experience Mufasa tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful in the shelter. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents.
