07/14/15 16:30 Mouna is a 4 year old torbie female domestic shorthair cat who is being surrendered because her family wants her to have a better home. Mouna has been with her family for 2 years. Mouna lived with 2 adults and one german shepherd mix dog but they are kept separated so they do not interact. Mouna also lives with 4 other cats whom she is reported to be playful with and receptive to. Client states Mouna likes to interact with her and enjoys petting. Mouna uses a litter box with clay litter. Mouna is not receptive to bathing and has not had a nail trim. Mouna likes to be held and picked up but will struggle to go into a carrier. Mouna likes balls to play swat and chase with as well as wand toys. Mouna has a scratching post made of cardboard which she uses but she will also scratch wooden doors in the house. When the family is home she likes to be where they are. Mouna eats both wet and dry food. Upon intake Mouna was receptive to introduction. Mouna was loose but alert for handling and counselor was able to scan for microchip (negative) collar and photograph. Mouna was easily replaced to the carrier.

She also lived with a large dog but they are kept separated so they do not interact. Mouna behavior towards dogs remains unknown. Mouna also lives with four other cats whom she is reported to be playful with and receptive to. The previous owner stated Mouna liked to interact with her and enjoyed petting. Mouna is litter box trained. Notes: Mouna at the time of the assessment was displaying behavior, did not come to the front of the kennel but interacts with the Assessor, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. Mouna is displaying behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents.
