MORRISON – A1045752
8-2-2015 Manhattan
***GONE 08/02/15*** SECOND CHANCE FOR MORRISON THE MAN!! MAKE IT COUNT!! MARVELOUS MORRISON—HEALTHY YOUNG KITTY NEEDS YOU! Sad sigh! Morrison is yet another kitty who came into the shelter purrfectly healthy, bright and tolerant of handling who got stressed in her scary surroundings and ended up with a NH rating due to her fear. Morrison is a beautiful Russian blue type and at one, is basically still a kitten who deserves the chance to grow up in a loving home. Or just a chance to grow up period. Can you please open up your heart and home to this precious angel who needs a new leash on life? Please let a rescue know if you can foster or adopt. Transportation is available (if you live within a reasonable distance of NYC). We are marvelous Morrison’s only hope. Can you be the one to help write a happy ending to this sad tale?

07/31/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – NH ONLY
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Morrison looks neutral in her cage when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Morrison remains crouched down by the front of the cage, alert with soft eyes. Reaction to touch: Morrison accepts a stroke on the head, but along the body she hisses at the assessor’s hand then slowly retreats to the back with ears down to the side and low growls in place. Placement determination: NH ONLY Morrison is displaying behaviors that preclude placement in the adoptions room. She is stressed in the shelter environment and does not currently tolerate petting. The behavior department feels that placement with a New Hope Partner is the best option at this time.
