***SAFE 06/16/15*** BEGINNER-RATED “VERY FRIENDLY” YOUNG CHARMER, ORIGINALLY ADOPTED FROM THE ACC, WAS RETURNED AS AN FeLV+ STRAY – PLEASE GRANT MOON A DEATH ROW PARDON!!! Gorgeous snow-white MOON, just four years old, was originally ADOPTED from the high-kill ACC as a kitten, but her story has a heart-breaking turn: “Moon was carried in by a priest who said that he saw her walking around the church. He said that people in the neighborhood have been feeding her. He held on to her for three days before deciding to bring her in to see if she belonged to anyone. Moon scanned positive for microchip. The finder carried Moon in. She was very easy to handle and very friendly. I was able to scan her. She allowed me to carry her and pet her. I transferred her into a kennel. She is very vocal and alert.” This loving young cat scored a rare-but-coveted BEGINNER behavior rating, and did I mention that Moon is ALREADY SPAYED? Sadly, Moon also tested positive for FeLV. Please know that most cats that become FeLV+ conquer the virus and recover. Their bodies mount an immune attack against the virus, producing antibodies that cure them or keep the virus in check. But the ACC has WRITTEN MOON OFF, so they will “CURE” her FeLV+ status with a lethal injection at noon tomorrow. Please save this sweet snow-white lovebug before it’s too late! Start RIGHT NOW to apply to foster or adopt charming FeLV+ girl MOON! If you can’t save MOON yourself, please SHARe her sad story and PLEDGE for her rescue!
