Mona was brought in as a stray, so we cannot speak to her behavior in her previous home. The finder stated she was easy to handle and allowed them to place her into a carrier without any issues. She was very relaxed during intake and had a loose and wiggly body. Reaction to assessor: Mona was calm, relaxed, and friendly upon approach. Reaction when softly spoken to: Mona rolls onto her back and stretches to show the assessor her belly. Reaction to cage door opening: Mona remains soft and relaxed. Reaction to touch: Mona begins to purr, rubs her head onto the assessor’s hand, and comes to the front. She continues to rub on the assessor to solicit attention. Reaction to being picked up: Mona remains calm and allows handling. Behavior Determination: Beginner Mona interacts with the Assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat can go to a beginner home.
