***SAFE 07/11/15***SECOND CHANCE FOR MARVELOUS MOMA – A BETRAYED HOUSEPET WHO NEEDS A NEW FRIEND! Sad sigh! Poor Moma—this beautiful three year old already spayed and healthy calico thought she had it made when she was adopted out of the shelter some time ago only to be returned to kitty hell on earth. And not only that—she was returned for “attacking people,” yet in her notes it says she is mellow, shy, quiet, likes to be brushed and held. There is absolutely no mention that she has ever bit or attacked any person or animal. It just says she doesn’t like to have her nails trimmed—what kitty does? Anyway, poor Moma is rescue only even though she doesn’t seem to have a behavior eval or a medical exam either, for that matter. This poor girl also has the misfortune of being at the shelter while it’s overflowing with wonderful adoptable cats and kittens—she is one of them. Can you help this sweet betrayed housepet get a new leash on life? Please contact a NH rescue if you can open up your heart and home to marvelous Moma. She is a lovely lady with good house manners and is ready to be your furever friend. Are you ready to be THE SOMEBODY in “somebody do something?” Moma is counting on you-don’t let her down.

Behavior Issues Moma has never bitten anyone or another animal in her past. The owner has never tried any grooming agents accept for triming of the nails. She likes to be held at times and this can be done without issue according to the owner. For a New Family to Know Moma was brought up using clumping litter and a standard litter box. She doesn’t really have much interest in cat toys and plays with them every so often. When in the home Moma is the type to hide or remain hidden. She doesn’t interact with humans much but when she does she plays in a gentle manner. She doesn’t take well to car rides and will meow/cry the whole time in the car.
