***SAFE 12/05/15*** ABANDONED AT TWO MONTHS OLD, MOLLY HAS SPENT THE PAST FIVE MONTHS WITH HER FINDER…..Who hoped that MOLLY would find a good home at the ACC…but little did she know that she was putting MOLLY in PERIL…..MOLLY is a 7 month old tortie with an excellent AVERAGE rating. She is healthy in general but because she caught the shelter’s cold, they have listed this little love muffin!! PLEASE APPLY TO FOSTER OR ADOPT MOLLY AND GIVE HER THE HOME SHE TRULY DESERVES!! I came in the shelter as a STRAY on 11/16/2015 from NY 11414, owner surrender reason stated was STRAY.

11/16/15 14:58 Molly is a 7 month old female tortie that came in as a stray. Finder stated that Molly was abandoned by her neighbor when she was 2 months old. Finder has been feeding her since and has decided to bring her in in hopes that she’ll find a good home. Upon intake, Molly displayed signs of nervousness; she was vocal and attempted to flee from the exam table. Assistance was needed to collar and photographed her; however, she displayed no signs of behavior issues.

Reaction to assessor: Molly stayed at the back of the cage resting When spoken quietly: Molly lifted her head up to look the assessor Reaction to door cage opening: Molly remains soft and relaxed Reaction to touch: Molly allows petting and attention Try picking cat up: Molly is tolerant of this type of handling. Behavior Determination: Average At the time of the assessment Molly was displaying calm behavior, did not come to the front of the kennel but interacts with the Assessor, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. Molly is displaying behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents.
