**SAFE 05/26/15** Only 8 Months Old And Totally Adoptable, Don’t Let MOJITO Be The Next Victim Of A Broken Shelter System! It’s a story we are all too familiar with: someone lets their cat out, the cat gets trapped by someone else, and then languishes at the ACC long enough to catch the shelter cold. For MOJITO, this all began on May 12th, just as it has with so many other cats who now appear in the Gone album. This excellent, EXPERIENCE-rated boy is only 8 months old and he is almost certainly someone’s lost pet. Someone must have room in their heart and home for another 6 pounds of hug machine. Please save MOJITO by making sure his foster/adoptive hero steps up for him tonight!

05/15/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPERIENCE
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Notes: Mojito was brought to the care center as a stray so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies previous to was seeing during the evaluation. At the time of the assessment he was displaying fearful behavior; does not seek attention from the assessor and becomes alert when the kennel was open. Retreats as I started to get closer. I was able to pet him and interact with him in a limited way. I was also able to pick him up and although he was tense no fractious behavior was display. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents. Reaction to assessor: does not come to front but remains neutral (2) When spoken quietly: does not come to front but remains neutral (2) Reaction to door cage opening: remains motionless (2) Reaction to touch: seems indifferent to my presence and touch (2) Try picking cat up: tolerant of this type of handling but tense. Placement Determination: Experience
