They are both shy but warm up easily, MYLA is still a little more fearful. We don’t know how these two little men ended up on their own but what we do now is that they need to be rescued now!! I am a male org tabby and white domestic sh mix. The shelter thinks I am about 11 MONTHS old.
I came in the shelter as a STRAY on 12/19/2015 from NY 11435, owner surrender reason stated was STRAY. I came in with Group/Litter #K15-043021.

12/19/15 17:31 Mytra is a orange tabby with white that appears to be 1 year old. The cat was found as a stray in finder’s backyard. Mytra allowed to be petted but can be a bit shy. She allows to be lured with soft cat food. During intake Mytra was nervous. She allowed being taken out of her carrier. But attempted to run during the intake. She did stand still to be photographed.

Reaction to assessor: Mitra does not come to front but remains neutral When spoken quietly: Mitra does not come to front but remains neutral Reaction to door cage opening: Mitra remains motionless Reaction to touch: Mitra very tense but allows petting with a slow approach Try picking cat up: Mitra is tolerant of this type of handling but tense. Behavior Determination: Experience No Child At the time of the assessment Mitra was displaying fearful behavior; does not seek attention from the assessor and becomes alert when the kennel was open. Remains motionless as I started to get closer. I was able to pet him and interact with him in a limited way. I was also able to pick him up and although he was tense no fractious behavior was display. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents with no children.
