scan negative female spay 5 year old cat mild dental staining gingivitis heart and lungs wnl ears mildly dirty eyes an nose clinically normal all nails on front limbs deeply embedded with secondary infeciton and active bleeding substantial pain in patient cat ambulatory, but gingerly bcs 4/9 nonpainful abdomen, dime-sized non reducible hernia-like structure left of midline faint linear scar along midline possible spay scar, not reportedly spayed given 0.03 cc ttdex for sedation to address embedded nails nails trimmed and photographed cat returned to soft-bedded kennel not recovering as quickly as expected from anesthesia given 50 cc warm sq fluids and placed on warmed surface in blankets mask placed with supplmental oxygen reversed twice IM with atipamazole at half the volume of ttdex 0.015 minimial response with incresed respiration and heart rate contacted medical director reversed with flumazenil 0.25 iv reversed to total volume dose (plumbs 0.2 mg/kg IM for dexmetatomadine) IV catheder placed and maitence fluids provided 10/27/15 15:32 cat is licking and moving, responding to reversal USE CAUTION WITH ANESTHESIA!!!
