MISTY – A1039737
6-22-2015 Manhattan
**GONE 06/22/15** The ACC has put 2 cats named “Misty” on the euth list tonight so remember that this Misty has the ID number of A1039737 if you can foster or adopt her. Misty A1039737 came into the shelter as a stray, and she cannot have been feeling her best since she had pyometra when she was admitted. The ACC put her through spay surgery, which was definitely the right thing to do for her, but their good actions ended there. The shelter may have a fancy new name, but they are still just awful at finding homes for good cats like Misty A1039737. This pretty girl has an EXPNOCHILD rating and is counting on her Urgent family to save her life, tonight!

06/12/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Misty looks tense in her cage when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Misty remains hiding behind the litter box, alert with pupils fully dilated. Reaction to touch: Misty slowly retreats to the back of the cage then flinches on the touch with ears down. During the stroke, her body stiffens in place and seems wary with her surroundings. Placement determination: Experience / no child Misty tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in a calm, quiet home with experienced cat parents and without children.
