**SAFE 06/15/15** MISTER is a neutered 4-year-old boy whose favorite treats are strawberries and marshmallows! This rock star kitty has lived with a pit bull and a Maltese, but prefers to be the only cat so he cat follow his owners around and sing them the songs of his people. MISTER is a little on the chubby side, which just makes him all the more squishable! This EXPNOCHILD dream machine is going to be killed tomorrow unless someone steps up to foster/adopt him, tonight!

06/06/15 16:16 Basic Information: Mister is a 4 year old domestic shorthair. Owner had Mister for 2 1/2years from a family member. Owner stated Mister appears to be healthy. Owners surrender Mister due to moving to a place that doesn’t except pets. Social Life and Personality: Mister lived with three adults and been around children. Mister is tolerant around children and keeps her distance. Owner stated Mister territorial around other cats and best he will be the only cat in the household. Mister use to live with a pitbull and maltase and he was tolerant and respectful towards dogs. He is an indoor cat and activity level is to a medium. He sleeps at night and wakes up at 4am. Owner stated Mister is playful, talkative and independent. Behavior Issues: Mister never bitten or scratched anyone to owner’s knowledge. He likes to scratch on sofa and cabinets. Mister goes to the vet to take baths and be groomed. He likes to be picked up and held but will swat at owner when he doesn’t want to play anymore. For a New Family to Know: Mister is litter box trained and likes to use a hooded litter box for privacy. He likes to play with balls, strings, pennies, and bottle caps. Mister only likes to scratch n post if there’s catnip on it. Mister likes to follow owner around and talk to them or sit on their lap. Mister eats wet and dry food called Fancy Feast. Owner stated his favorite treats are marshmallows and strawberries. Intake Behavior: Upon intake Mister was nervous and shy. He didn’t want to come out the carrier. He scanned negative for a microchip and allowed limited handling.

Owner Profile: Mister was bought into the care center by his owner due to moving to a place that doesn’t except pets. Mister lived with three adults and been around children. Mister is tolerant around children but keeps his distance. The pevious owner stated Mister territorial around other cats and would do best being the only cat in the household. Mister use to live with a pitbull and maltase. He was tolerant and respectful towards dogs. He is an indoor cat and activity level is to a medium. The previous owner stated Mister is playful, talkative and independent. Mister is litter box trained. Notes: Mister at the time of the assessment was displaying fearful behavior; does not seek attention from the assessor and becomes alert when the kennel was open. Remains motionless as I started to get closer but after a steady slow approach using soft voices he relaxed a little and I was able to pet him even though he hissed . We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents with no children. Reaction to assessor: does not come to front but remains neutral When spoken quietly: does not come to front but remains neutral Reaction to door cage opening: remains motionless Reaction to touch: Hissed then seems indifferent to my presence and touch Try picking cat up: not tolerant of this type of handling.
