Mishu – A0978352 – 2 yr. neutered black tabby, stray:
Reaction to Assessor: Mishu was calm and relaxed upon approach. He comes to the front and tries to sniff the assessor when softly spoken to.
Reaction to cage door opening: Mishu remains soft and relaxed.
Reaction to touch: Mishu rubs his cheeks onto the assessor, remains in place for petting, and begins to purr. He may open his mouth and nibbles gently on the assessor’s hand, but continues to rub his cheeks and solicit attention.
Reaction to being picked up: Mishu remains calm and allows handling.
Behavior Determination: Average
Mishu interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents.

Notes: Mishu was brought to the care center as a stray so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies previous to what we are seeing during the evaluation. At the time of the assessment he was displaying friendly behavior, did not come to the front of the kennel but interacts with the Assessor, appreciates attention,tolerates all petting. Mishu can be playful and may bite gently during play . Mishu is displaying behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents.
