*** SAFE 04/23/15*** MINTY WAS SURRENDERED BY HIS OWNER FOR PERSONAL PROBLEMS – NOW THE ACC WILL MAKE HIM ANOTHER STATISTIC IF HIS RESCUE ANGEL DOESN’T ARRIVE BY NOON!! Minty was not happy about his owner dumping him at the shelter. He was almost cringing at the touch of a stranger. This poor cat also had some eye issues as a result of a possible Feline Herpes virus which is just another virus that can cause a bad URI in cats. Lucky for Minty, he has gotten treatment for this with antibiotics and it seems to have been working as he did get a N-1 Normal rating at his last major medical exam. A follow up visit to a competent vet would most likely be highly recommended. Minty would love nothing more than to get out of this place and back into a home. He got an EXPERIENCE rating since he is very unhappy at being abandoned by his owner. CAN YOU GIVE THIS HANDSOME TUXIE BOY A HAPPY ENDING TO HIS STORY? PLEASE HURRY AND CONTACT A RESCUE TO PULL HIM TO SAFETY.

04/18/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPERIENCE
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Notes: Minty was bought to the care center by his previous owner. At the time of the assessment she was displaying fearful behavior; does not seek attention from the assessor and becomes alert when the kennel was open. Retreats as I started to get closer. Reaction to assessor: does not come to front but remains neutral (2) When spoken quietly: does not come to front but remains neutral (2) Reaction to door cage opening: retreats Reaction to touch: seems indifferent to my presence and touch (2) Try picking cat up:did not attempt, nervous Placement Determination: Experience
