Handsome MILO, a seven-year-old brown tabby boy, finds himself dumped into the kill-happy ACC when his old owner DIED and made no contingency plans for this once-beloved kitty. During intake, Milo was CURIOUS and SWEET, allowing all handling. And did I mention that Milo is ALREADY NEUTERED? Milo earned a very good EXPNOCHILD behavior rating, but the ACC will KILL him at noon tomorrow, despite the fact that this excellent tabby gentl is PERFECTLY HEALTHY! 07/18/15 09:34 During intake allowed handling without aggression. When inside carrier would meow/cry loudly but approached extended hand and sniffed. When outside carrier would attempt to flee but did not become aggressive when stopped. inside new carrier retreated to back and when given food would not eat.

Reaction to Assessor: Milo was lying flat against the ground with his ears bent sideways upon approach. He focuses on the assessor and then looks away when softly spoken to. Reaction to cage door opening: Milo remains motionless. Reaction to touch: Milo is immobile as the assessor pets him on his head and back. He starts to breathe rapidly and his eyes wander during the interaction. Behavior Determination: Experience No Child Milo tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful or stressed in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. She may be a little more independent, and may need time to warm up to his new home.
