SAFE 9/18/15 A volunteer writes: Who’s that big red guy with those soft warm eyes reclining in his kennel looking so suave? It must be Milo! He is very friendly, fun to interact with and appreciates attention. We enjoyed being together, seems like he would be a good match for many, maybe you?

The shelter staff think I am about 3 years old.

I weigh 21 pounds.

I was found in NY 10025.

I have been at the shelter since Apr 25, 2015.

Behavior 4/28:

Reaction to assessor: Milo looks neutral in his cage when approached by the assessor.

 

Reaction to door opening: Milo remains sitting upright by the front, alert with eyes wide open.

 

Reaction to touch: Milo accepts the stroke, purrs in place, and appreciates petting on the head and body.

 

Reaction to Being Picked up: He calmly jumps back into his cage.

 

Placement determination: Average

Milo interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting.

This cat is showing behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents.
