MILEY – A1046558
8-13-2015 Manhattan
***GONE 8/13/15*** Its sad when a cat is dumped at the ACC for no reason. But its a higher level of sad when a cat gets brought here because the owner is too sick. That is the case with 5 year old MILEY. The SPAYED girl is not happy in the ACC and letting everyone know it! It’s about time someone opened their mouth about how HORRIBLE a place this is! However the poor kitty got slapped with a RESCUE ONLY rating because she’s scared! Getting MILEY a home is half the battle! Once in a new, loving environment, MILEY just needs time to decompress. After all,she is still in shock of not being with her owner and one would understand her frightened nature! So please contact A NEW HOPE RESCUE NOW!!! Offer to FOSTER or ADOPT MILEY! This sad girl needs someone to love her again. And she will love you in return!

08/07/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – NH ONLY
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Miley looks neutral in her cage when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Miley remains at the front of the cage, soft and relaxed, soliciting attention. Reaction to touch: Miley sniffs the assessor’s hand then slowly retreats, growls, hisses, and swats with no claws. Placement determination: NH ONLY Miley is displaying behaviors that preclude placement in the adoptions room. She is extremely fearful in the shelter environment and does not currently tolerate petting. The behavior department feels that placement with a New Hope Partner is the best option at this time.
