I am a male brn tabby domestic sh mix. The shelter thinks I am about 6 MONTHS old.
I came in the shelter as a STRAY on 10/11/2015 from NY 11219, owner surrender reason stated was STRAY. I came in with Group/Litter #K15-035554.

10/11/15 14:38 Mike D is a 7 month old brown tabby domestic shorthair cat who arrived as a stray surrender. Upon intake Mike D was not handled. Counselor photographed in the carrier but did not scan for microchip or collar.

10/14/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Mike D was hiding when I approach cage. When spoken quietly: Mike D continues to hide. Reaction to door cage opening: Mike D retreats Reaction to touch: Mike D tries to flee. I was able to touch him for a limited time with out him attempting to flee Try picking cat up: Mike D allowed handling but remained tense Behavior Determinaion: Experience No Child At the time of the assessment Mike D was displaying fearful behavior; does not seek attention from the assessor and becomes tries to flee when the kennel was open. Retreats as I started to get closer but after a steady slow approach using soft voices he relaxed a little. I was able to pet him and interact with him in a limited way. I was also able to pick him up . Although he was tense no fractious behavior was display. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents with no children.
