Reaction to assessor: Midnight was calm and relaxed upon approach. When softly spoken to, she looks at the assessor and blinks slowly. Reaction to cage door opening: Midnight remains soft and relaxed. Reaction to touch: Midnight was a little hesitant at first, but sniffs the assessor’s hand and chirps. She allows petting on her head and back and comes to the front. She head-butts the assessor’s hand and begins to purr after a little while. Reaction to toy or novel object: Midnight sniffs the object. Reaction to being picked up: Midnight remains soft and allows all handling. As per previous owner, Midnight has lived in a home with 3 adults for a few years. She has also lived with other cats, in which she got along with fine. They said she loves to play, enjoys petting, and loves to cuddle and be picked up. Behavior Determination: Average Midnight interacts with the Assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. There is no known history of behavioral problems. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents.
