MIA – A1042904
7-20-2015 Manhattan
***GONE 07/20/15*** ‘MIA was friendly when being taken out of the carrier and allowed staff to collar scan and take pictures of her. When it was time to put MIA back in the carrier MIA began to hiss and swat and did not want to be handled.’ So read MIA’S assessment notes. Why did MIA become hissy? Because she KNEW she was being abandoned because her owner had chosen to move to housing that wouldn’t allow MIA. As a result, MIA has been basically abandoned in a ‘shelter’ where the number of cats on the ‘at risk’ list tonight number 51. This means, without your help, MIA’S chance of making it out of ACC alive are slim to nil. That said, this lovely little girl really needs you and is such a pretty girl, with her tri colored calico markings. MIA has lived in a home-she will adjust and come to know and trust her new person. But for that to happen, MIA needs to have you reach out and pull her to safety so those lovely green eyes will find yours and know trust again. Please save MIA!
