07/13/15 14:32 Basic Information Mel B was brought in as a stray after being found by a client. Client says she kept Mel B for a week, feeding her outside. Client says Mel B was very nice, and seemed healthy. Behavior during Intake Mel B was friendly during intake. She accepted food, and ate dry food from my hand. She allowed all handling, and allowed me to stroke her fur and collar her. Mel B allowed all handling, and showed no signs of aggression during intake.

Reaction to assessor: Mel B looks neutral in her cage when approached by the assesssor. Reaction to door opening: Mel B remains lying down on her cage bedding, alert with soft eyes. Reaction to touch: Mel B stands with tail up, head-butts the assessor’s hand and appreciates petting on the head and body. Reaction to Being Picked up: She calmly jumps back into her cage. Placement determination: Average Mel B interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents.
