She feels that her cat is very old herself. She has no know n health issues. He rlast vet visit was many years ago. Socialization The owner decsribes Massa as friendly, affectionate but abit around strangers. She as never been outdorrs. She has no litterbox accidents. She is very old and is not as active as she used to be. She has no toys and no scratching post. Bahavior during intake During intake, Massa is very easy to handle. She was very friendly. She has a very soft body and allowed photos, collaring and scanning(negative). She was evry calm and relaxed when being transferred into a kennel.

Reaction to assessor: Massa is at the front and is calm and relaxed. When softly spoken to, she meows softly and shifts her body a little. Reaction to cage door opening: Massa remains motionless. Reaction to touch: Massa remains in place for petting and seems indifferent to touch. After a little while, she leans onto the assessor’s hand and begins to purr. Reaction to being picked up: Massa remains calm and allows handling. As per previous owner, Massa is described as friendly, affectionate, but is a bit shy around strangers. She is very old and is not as active as she used to be. Massa was easy to handle upon intake, was friendly and had a soft body. Behavior Determination: Average Massa interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. No known history of behavioral problems. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents.
