06/09/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Notes: Martini was brought to the care center as a stray so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies previous to what we are seeing during the evaluation. At the time of the assessment she was displaying fearful behavior; does not seek attention from the assessor and becomes alert when the kennel was open. Tries to flee as I started to get closer but after a steady slow approach using soft voices she relaxed a little and I was able to pet her and interact with her in a limited way. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents with no children. Reaction to assessor: attempts to hide upon my approach When spoken quietly: continues to hide Reaction to door cage opening: retreats Reaction to touch: moves away from me, tries to flee cage Try picking cat up: not tolerant of this type of handling, very afraid, tries to flee. Placement Determination: Experience no child
