Marvelous and RARE ginger and white kitten MARSHMELLOW, just 15 months old, was sadly surrendered to the ACC’s Death Camp for Kitties due to “TOO MANY PETS”, where she quickly caught the eye of an ACC volunteer, who lovingly writes: :Marshmellow is as sweet as the treat she is named for. This tabby is super friendly, with the softest fur and a hearty purr! She’s affectionate and loves to be held. This little sweetie would bring joy into the home of beginner cat parents.

06/21/15 12:15 Basic Information: Marshmellow is a 1yr old female domestic short haired cat that has no past or current medical issues according to the owner. Social Life & Personality: Marshmellow has been around children and interacts with them in a gentle manner. She has lived with cats of all ages and interacts with them in a playful gentle manner. The owner isn’t sure how Marshmellow will respond in the presence of a dog due to never having one around for her to interact with. Marshmellow is an indoor only cat that is litter box trained. Marshmellow is described to be friendly, affectionate, and playful with a high activity level. Behavior Issues: Marshmellow has never bitten a person or another animal according to the owner. Marshmellow doesn’t take well to recieving a bath and it can be a struggle when attempting to do so. The owner has never tried to trim her nails so they don’t know how she will respond to this grooming agent. However Marshmellow does like having her coat brushed and this can be done with no issues. Marshmellow does take well to being held and will allow this. When it comes to being put in a cat carrier for transport Marshmellow isn’t bothered by it. For a New Family to Know: Marshmellow was brought using regular clay litter and a hooded litter box. Marshmellow enjoys all sorts of cat toys and will play with just about anything according to the owner. She did have a scratching post and used it pretty often. When in the home Marshmellow is the type to follow you around seeking attention. When interacting with humans she plays in a gentle manner. When in the car for transport Marshmellow appears to be fearful and may meow/cry. Marshmellow was brought up eating both wet/dry food and the brands the owner gave were Blue Mountain & Fancy Feast.

Notes: Marshmellow came to the shelter surrendered by an owner who described her as friendly, affectionate and playful. At the time of the assessment, Marshmellow is displaying friendly behavior.
