MARGE – A0716694
7-24-2015 Manhattan
***GONE 07/24/15***MARVELOUS MARGE NEEDS NEW FRIEND! Marge is a nine year old super sweet (but sad) white and grey tabby who was dumped at the shelter on 7/13 due to her former owner’s “personal problems.” Marge’s former owner claimed that she was found as a stray about six months ago but it turns out that this calm and gentle soul was actually adopted from the ACC previously and was already spayed. Marge is being treated for a sore on her right paw (which she actually visited a vet for). She also has a wound on the right side of her head which is healing well. It is not known how this lovely lady got these wounds. Her former owner claimed that she was also having litterbox issues which according to Marge’s vet, may be attributed to stress since her family wasn’t home very much. What we do know is that Marge is an extremely loving and affectionate kitty who desperately needs us to advocate for her precious life tonight. Otherwise, she will become another sad ACC stat when tomorrow afternoon rolls around. Marge would be a purrfect friend for someone who wants a bud to watch t.v. with or a cool couch companion. If you can help, please reserve her online or contact a NH rescue for help with transportation (available if you live within a few hours of NYC). Let’s do everything we can to write a happy ending to marvelous Marge’s sad tale. Won’t you please be her rescue angel?

Marge has played with string toys and feather wand toys; she lives mostly indoors and sleeps anywhere in the house that she wants.
