S/O: Swelling of palpebra w/ d/c acute reported

EENT: OS abrasion/moist dematitis med 1/ upper palpebra. OU mp d/c
AD copious pustular d/c, narrow canal, tympanum could not e visualized
AS crusted d/c
ABD: nsf on palpation
H/L: hr wnl nm nsr pink moist mm <2 Lungs: nsf
A: hx conj
moist dermatitis OS r/o 2nd to pruritic ears
severe otitis AU r/o underlying dz process
P: Cleaned OU w/ cold compress> Erythromycin OU con’t bid as prev rx’d
Cleaned w/ sterile water rec flush daily x 3 days
Baytril 22.7 mg/ml 0.8 ml sq sid x 7 days
Buprenex 0.3 mg/ml 0.15 ml sq bid x 7 days
OS purulent ocular d/c
no other uri signs
ok to keep in adoptions
suspect ear mites due to lesions around ears
some powdery d/c seen
rx ivermectin sq once
scab on head
dirty ears cleaned
heavy fleas and fleas dirt
some areas of missing hair and dermatitis
abdomen shaved and spay scar seen
Reaction to assessor: Obie immediately comes soliciting at the front of the cage.
Reaction to door opening: Obie remains at the front of the cage, soft and relaxed, soliciting attention.
Reaction to touch: Obie rubs on the assessor’s hand and appreciates petting on the head and
Reaction to Being Picked up: Allows the pickup and remains calm.
Placement determination: Beginner
Obie interacts with the Assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting.
This cat can go to a beginner home.
