***SAFE 10/20/15***BEAUTIFUL BEGINNER MALTA-GREY AND WHITE PERSIAN NEEDS RESCUE ANGEL! Sad sigh! Malta is a stunning eight year old girl with a few health issues that need to be addressed by a competent vet. This lovely lady has a suspected inflammatory polyp in her left ear that needs to be removed. Despite not feeling purrfect, Malta is an absolute sweetheart—very affectionate, calm and tolerates all petting and handling. Let a rescue know if you can help this beauty. If you foster, the rescue will cover all reasonable medical expenses. Malta wants to live and deserves to live. She will surely reward her lucky new purrson with a ton of love and affection. I came in the shelter as a STRAY on 10/13/2015 from NY 10467, owner surrender reason stated was STRAY.

Reaction when softly spoken to: Malta stays lying down and chirps again – is calm, relaxed and friendly. Reaction to cage door opening: Malta remains soft and relaxed. Reaction to touch: Malta solicits petting and attention – chirping and rubbing against the assessor’s hand. Reaction to being picked up: Malta settles comfortable in the assessor’s arms and begins to purr. Behavior Determination: Beginner Malta interacts with the Assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. No known history of behavioral problems. This cat can go to a beginner home.
