12/02/15 18:15 Malala is a 2 year old female torbie colored domestic shorthair cat who arrived as a stray surrender. Upon intake Malala was receptive to introduction and loose but shy for handling. Counselor was able to scan for microchip (negative) collar and photograph. Malala allowed petting and returned to carrier on her own.

At the time of the assessment Malala was displaying behaviors that preclude placement in the adoptions room and may require further investigation before placement in a home. She is extremely fearful and currently does not like being petted or handled. The behavior department feels that placement with a New Hope Partner is the best option at this time.
