*** SAFE 06/07/15 *** MAKI IS HAVING NICE THINGS SAID ABOUT HER…..A staff member writes: “When I met Maki, all I could think is how beautiful she is and how much potential she has to grow up and be a wonderful companion under the messy exterior. She’s one of those “fixer uppers” that make adopting an animal so worthwhile! From the moment she was found, she’s been nothing but sweet. All she needs is a little patience, time and some TLC! Don’t wait to come meet little Maki!” MAKI IS A SWEETHEART AND RARE ORANGE FEMALE!! SHE DESERVES A LOVING HOME….PLEASE OFFER TO FOSTER OR ADOPT TONIGHT!!

06/04/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Maki looks tense in her cage when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Maki remains crouched down on her cage bedding, alert with eyes wide open. Reaction to touch: Maki accepts the stroke, but flinches on the touch and places her head down with ears flat to the side. Placement determination: Experience / no child Maki tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in a calm, quiet home with experienced cat parents and without children.
