***GONE 11/14/15***PURRFECTLY HEALTHY AND ADORABLE BROWN AND WHITE TABBY—JUST ONE YEARS OLD NEEDS RESCUE ANGEL! Majesty is a one year old fab fella whose former family dumped him at the shelter because he was afraid of strangers. They admitted he could also be very sweet. This poor guy was so scared during intake, he needed to be removed from his carrier with a blanket he came in with. He tolerates petting and handling but is shy. If you think it is a crime for a healthy and sweet cat to be killed just because he’s timid, please be Majesty’s hero. Reserve him online or let a rescue know if you can help. Transportation is available. Majesty only has tonight. We are his only hope. Don’t let him down!!!

11/08/15 Basic Information Majesty A1057297 is a 1 yr old DSH Brown tabby male who was given to his owner as a gift by a friend. Majesty was surrendered due to his behavior. Socialization According to Majesty’s owner he was described as fearful which would result in him hissing and swatting at strangers. He did enjoy playing with his owner at times but played a bit rough which would sometimes result in a scratch. Behavior Majesty was said to cry a lot and meow loudly in the early a.m hours. Majesty did enjoy his grooming sessions allowing to be brushed and bathed but wasn’t to fond of nail trimming. For a family to know Majesty is described as fearful but could be extremely sweet on occasion with a very low activity level. When home he enjoys following his owner around often stopping to scratch at his scratching post. Majesty is litter trained and prefers an uncovered litter box. he enjoys eating both wet and dry food preferably fancy feast (chicken and turkey). During intake Majesty was fearful with ears pushed back and eyes averted with tail tucked. Majesty needed to be removed from his carrier with a blanket he originally came with. I allowed him time to relax and proceeded with the intake process. While still fearful (ears still pushed back) he did allow to be scanned (-), collared and Photographed. Majesty allowed to be carried and placed into his kennel.

11/11/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Majesty looks tense in his cage when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Majesty remains crouched position on his cage bedding, alert with eyes wide open. Reaction to touch: Majesty hisses at first then slowly sniffs the assessor’s hand and accepted light strokes on the head. However, he began to low growl in place with eyes wandering. Placement determination: Experience / no child Majesty tolerates attention and petting but may be stressed the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in a calm, quiet home with experienced cat parents and without children.
