10/14/15 15:48 Magnolia’s finder has been feeding her outside for 2 weeks. She reports that Magnolia is friendly and social. She goes to her home every day. She allowed her finder to pick her up, put her in a carrier, and bring her here. Magnolia had a soft body while we picked up, pet, scanned (-), collared, and put her into a kennel. She was easy to handle and didn’t resist, retreat, or vocalize.

10/17/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Magnolia looks neutral in her cage when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Magnolia remains crouched position at the front of the cage, meowing attention. Reaction to touch: Magnolia accepts a stoke, but becomes agitated with the touch then low growls in place and attempts to swat. Placement determination: Experience / no child Magnolia tolerates attention and petting but may be stressed in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in a calm, quiet home with experienced cat parents and without children.
