*** SAFE 05/31/15 *** MAC NEEDS A MIRACLE-A SHY LITTLE GIRL WITH THE SADDEST EYES, her FIV+ and FELV+ MAKE HER A HARD PLACEMENT! She’s young, and she is sad and scared-and has reason to be. She’s a black cat with a ‘double positive-for FIV+ and FELV+…which means MAC can go to a home with another cat who’s FELV+ or a dog, even, or alone. She allowed herself to be petted, but was timid, which is normal in the chaos of ACC. MAC needs that special someone who has space for her, where she can be the loving and gentle girl she’s always been-cats with FELV+ can live normal healthy lives as can cats with FIV+. However, MAC needs that special someone and quick, That she is a black cat, and double positive puts MAC in extreme danger and she is due to be put to sleep tomorrow at 12 noon without rescue. Please, if you can, save MAC! She doesn’t deserve to die-shes a nice little girl who needs someone to watch over her-SAVE MAC TONIGHT!!!!

Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Hiding when I approach cage. (3) Reaction to being spoken to quietly: Stays hidden but peeks out to look. (3) Reaction to cage door opening: Retreats. (3) Reaction to touch: Tries to avoid touch, but allows petting. (3) Reaction to being picked up: Did not attempt, cat appears stressed.
