MC scanned – negative Petite female cat with likely tooth abscess, estimated age 5 years S: Active, curious, constantly moving, has very limited tolerance for exam and handling O: BAR-H, BCS 4.5/9, MMs pink and moist, CRT <2 sec EENT: No discharge OU, AU, nose. Left maxillary PM4 has tartar and possible furcation exposure, otherwise clean teeth. Tips of ears are alopecic and slightly scabbed. PLNs: Not enlarged. H/L: NSR, NMA. Purring – purr is very musical. Eupnic. Abd: Tucked up, no pain on palpation, no masses palpated. M/S/I: Amb x4. No lesions noted. UG: Female, no spay scar noted. A: Dental disease, left upper 4th premolar may need treatment Short-term prognosis: Excellent P: Gave 0.9 ml pyrantel during exam. Seek placement with follow-up dental care. 1088
