10/01/15 15:10 Lyrical was found as a stray when she was a kitten 5 years ago. Her owner was elderly and a neighbor/family friend helped care for her. Her owner passed away 2 weeks ago and the neighbor has been caring for her since. He relinquished her because he can’t have cats. Lyrical is friendly/outgoing with new people. She’s lived with an older female cat (Ashley A1053384) as well as small and large dogs. She’s relaxed, affectionate, tolerant, and playful with the other pets. She’s never bit anyone. Her caretaker describes her as friendly, affectionate, playful, and mellow. She follows her people and sits with them. She ate dry cat food and used her litterbox without having accidents. Lyrical had soft, relaxed body and eyes during intake and handling. We picked her up, scanned her (-), collared her, positioned her for pictures, and put her into a kennel. She lied on the table while we brushed her for a few minutes. She was very easy to handle and didn’t resist/retreat/vocalize.
