Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Notes: Lynn was brought to the care center as a stray so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies previous to what we seeing during the evaluation. At the time of the assessment she was displaying friendly behavior, comes to the front of the kennel, interacts with the Assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates petting. Lynn’s tail seems to be sensitive and she will growl when it’s touched. This could be due to a medical condition. Lynn is displaying behavior appropriate for a new or experienced cat owner. Reaction to assessor: sitting calmly at the front of cage, watching assessor When spoken quietly: remains sitting calmly at the front of cage, continues to watching assessor Reaction to door cage opening: remains soft & relaxed Reaction to touch: allows all petting, purrs, head butts, rubs on hand Try picking cat up: Lynn remains friendly while being held Placement Determination: Average
