***SAFE 07/23/15 HORRIBLE is the only words that come to mind! Look at poor LYNNE’S face! This 5 year old male came in as a stray with lacerations all over his face! Though, through it all LYNN acted like a true gentleman! He was “quiet and aloof” during intake but when taken to medical for evaluation he became agitated, and growled and hissed. OF COURSE HES GOING TO BE MAD,look at his FACE! So for that behavior he’s now labeled RESCUE ONLY! Please get LYNN out! He needs love and a place to heal. Contact a NEW HOPE RESCUE NOW to save LYNN!

07/20/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – NH ONLY
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to Assessor: Lynn was inside a hidey box upon approach. He displayed no reaction when softly spoken to. Reaction to cage door opening: Lynn remains motionless. Reaction to touch: Lynn hisses and continuously attempts to avoid touch. He hisses each time the assessor reaches for him and moves away. He allowed only a brief touch on his leg and hisses again. Behavior Determination: New Hope Only Lynn is displaying behaviors that preclude placement in the adoptions room and/or may require further investigation before placement in a home. He is extremely fearful in the shelter environment and does not currently tolerate petting or handling. The behavior department feels that placement with a New Hope Partner is the best option at this time.
