I came in the shelter as a STRAY on 10/21/2015 from NY 11427, owner surrender reason stated was STRAY. I came in with Group/Litter #K15-036798.

10/21/15 15:51 Lucie is a stray white and brown tabby that appears to be 6 months old. Finder stated that the cat came towards her and was friendly. The kitten ate independently and allowed to be picked up. During intake Lucie was a bit nervous. She attempted to flee from counselor but managed to relax after offering food. Kitten allowed being collard, photographed and scanned.

A volunteer writes: Lukas is the cutest cat I’ve met in a long time! He is a big, white cat with grey-striped spots here and there, and a gallant brush of a tail. So if it weren’t for his teeny little eyes, I’d be calling him handsome. But his eyes make him look so funny and sweet that I just wanted to cuddle him and kiss his little nose! He is a bit shy, though, so it takes a bit of sweet-talk to get him to come over and say hello. Once he does, he gets comfy with you, and although I didn’t actually kiss his nose last Sunday, I did give him some loving and call him sweet names.

Reaction to door cage opening: Lukas retreats towards the middle of the cage Reaction to touch: Lukas allows petting. He slowly comes back to the front of the cage and seeks attention Try picking cat up: Lukas is tolerant of this type of handling. Behavior Determination: Average At the time of the assessment Lukas was displaying friendly behavior, comes to the front of the kennel, interacts with the Assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. Lukas is displaying behavior appropriate for a new or experienced cat owner.
