11/18/15 13:43 Basic Infromation: Lucy is a one yaer old domestic short hair cat who is sweet, affectionate and will come when she is called. Lucy likes to have space and is very independant. Social Life and Personality: Lucy has been around children ages 7, 9 and 10 and is respectful of them. When Lucy plays with children she is exuberant. Around other cats Lucy is relaxed and affectionate after getting used to them. When Lucy plays with other cats she is gentle. Lucy has been around a chihuahua and a staffordshire terrier. When she was with them she was relaxed. Lucy is litter box trained and has been kept indoors only. Lucy has been described as playful, confident, friendly, assertive, talkative and independant with a medium to high activity level. Behavior Issues: Lucy tends to claw on the furniture and scratches people. Lucy has bitten a person before but not any animals. when lucy is being given a bath or being picked up and held she will struggle. When Lucy’s previous owner attempted to trim her nails she hissed and struggled. Lucy does not mind when people brush her coat or whenshe is disturbed from her sleep. For a New Family to Know: Lucy has used litter form the brands: tidy cats, scoop away and fresh step in a hooded litter box. Lucy likes to play with string, feathers and moving toys. Lucy uses a vertical scratching post made out of rough rope, smooth wood and cardboard. When at home Lucy will be in her favorite spot. Lucy eats dry food from the brand natural choice twice a day. Lucy likes to sleep in high places. Intake Behavior: Lucy could not be collared. Lucy growled and hissed at staff. Lucy allowed staff to scan her for a microchip.

Reaction to touch: Lucy head-butts the assessor’s hand, purrs in place, and appreciates petting on the head and body. Reaction to Being Picked up: She calmly jumps back into the cage. Placement determination: Average Lucy interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents.
