***GONE 06/24/15*** HANDSOME GRAY BOY, DUMPED AS A STRAY, WAS “CALM, QUIET” AT INTAKE, BUT WILL NOW DIE DUE TO HIS FEAR – PLEASE GRANT LUCKY LUE A DEATH ROW PARDON!!! Exquisite Russian Blue lookalike LUCKY LUE, five years old, finds himself slung into the ACC’s Death Camp for Kitties as a supposed “STRAY”, but he arrived at a healthy weight, free of ear mites, so it’s obvious that poor Lucky Lue is a lost or abandoned pet kitty! At intake, he was “CALM, QUIET AND ALERT”, but this is one SMART BOY who quickly realized that his life was in danger! Lucky Lue acted defensively during his behavioral test with the frightening fake hand, so he was unfairly PUNISHED with New Hope Only and fast-tracked to the noon kill list for tomorrow. This poor fellow has also caught the ACC’s kitty cold, but neither FEAR nor SNEEZING deserve a death sentence! Please open your heart and home to this dear scared gray boy. Lucky Lue will revert back to his usual charming self as soon as he escapes the ACC hellhole. Start RIGHT NOW to apply to foster or adopt betrayed, scared Russian Blue boy LUCKY LUE from the approved New Hope rescue groups!! If you can’t save LUCKY LUE yourself, please SHARE his sad story and PLEDGE for his rescue!

06/22/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – NH ONLY
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Lucky Lue was stiff and alert upon approach. When softly spoken to, he hisses and lip smacks. Reaction to cage door opening: Lucky Lue charges to the front, spits, and tries to swat at the assessor. Reaction to touch: Lucky Lue does not allow touch; he growls and then he hisses, spits, swats, and bites the assessor’s hand. Note: Lucky Lue was brought in as a stray, so we cannot speak to his behavior in his previous home. He was alert, but was calm and quiet upon intake. During his initial medical exam, he was tense and nervous, but allowed handling. However, Lucky Lue’s behavior seems to have deteriorated and he no longer interacts with the observer without striking out. Behavior Determination: NH ONLY Lucky Lue is displaying behaviors that preclude placement in the adoptions room and/or may require further investigation before placement in a home. He has tried to swat, scratch, bite, does not currently tolerate petting or handling. The behavior department feels that placement with a New Hope Partner is the best option at this time.
