A volunteer writes: Such a unusual face makes her as charming as a little princess can be. She is petite and sweet and a true gentle soul. As Clint would say “Do you feel lucky?” Well rush on down to the shelter today and scoop her right out of her cage and take her home. She will make a great companion. A staff member writes: “This little girl with an elfin face will steal your heart; she is so motivated by affection that she will turn down even the tastiest treat if she can get your attention. She is also a curious cat who likes to keep an eye on what is going on around her, an activity she is content to do while settled down on your lap. Lucky is a young at heart 9 year-old cat who looking for a home where she can continue to grow old gracefully.

Reaction to assessor: Lucky immediately comes soliciting at the front of the cage. Reaction to door opening: Lucky remains at the front of the cage, soft and relaxed, soliciting attention. Reaction to touch: Lucky head-butts the assessor’s hand, purrs, and appreciates petting on the head and body. Reaction to Being Picked up: Allows the pickup and remains calm. Placement determination: Beginner Lucky interacts with the Assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat can go to a beginner home.
