04/02/15 14:18 Inake Behavior: Loaded Potato had a soft body inside the carrier. When the carrier was opened Loaded Potato remained neutral. When Loaded Potato was pet it nuzzled hand. When attempted to move Loaded Potato, it hissed and swat the counsler. The door was closed. After a few mintues to relaxed, the door was opened again to attempt to collar. Loaded Potato allowed petting for a few seconds but then turned and swat and hissed.

Notes: LoadedPotato was brought to the shelter as a stray so we don’t have any behavioral history previous to what we are seeing during the evaluation. At the time of the assessment she was displaying conflicted behavior, comes to the front of the kennel, interacts with the Assessor but will attempt to flee, solicits attention, allows brief handling before hissing but tolerates all petting . LoadedPotato is displaying behavior appropriate for an experience cat owner. Reaction to assessor: comes to the front of the cage, (1) When spoken quietly: stays at front, soliciting attention (1) Reaction to door cage opening: remains soft & relaxed but will try to flee (1) Reaction to touch: solicits petting and attention (1) Try picking cat up: tolerant of this type of handling for a brief amount of time Placement Deremination: Experience

SCAN NEGATIVE BRIGHT, ALERT, RESPONSIVE, HYDRATED PHYSICAL EXAM- late term in pregnancy red eyes – conjunctivitis confirmed by 0582 very thin – offered soft food and ate that very well clean ears slightly dirty coat – flea negative slight tartar seen on teeth she allowed petting for a little while than she started hissing and growling the more you handled her. She did try to swat once. As per 0582 start on erythromycin oint BID for 10 days NOSF
