08/05/15 19:06 Litter Mates : Lita : A1046805 Eddie : A1046806 Erma : A1046807 Lita is a gray female tabby who was brought into ACC today as a stray. Lita was calm and aloof observing things as she was inside of her carrier. Lita became nervous when an attempt was made to collar and photograph her and she retreated further into her carrier. Due to her nervousness Lita wa not collared or photographed. Lita appears to be a nervous cat as she meowed and paced about often and will need to adjust to her new circumstance.

Reaction to Assessor: Lita was calm and relaxed upon approach. She becomes alert and looks around when softly spoken to, but tries to sniff and blinks afterwards. Reaction to cage door opening: Lita remains soft and relaxed. Reaction to touch: Lita remains in place for petting and her ears bend slightly sideways, but she purrs and lifts her butt up when pet on her lower back. Reaction to being picked up: Lita allows handling and calmly jumps back into the cage. Behavior Determination: Average Lita interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents.
