LITA – A1044861
8-3-2015 Brooklyn Rescue: Happy Homes Please honor your pledges: http://www.happyhomesinc.org/
**SAFE 08/03/15** Little LITA was brought in as a STRAY and as one could imagine she is scared out of her mind and has the sniffles to boot! The cold will be easily cured with antibiotics, but as for her fearfulness, that can only be cured by a loving home! This 5 month old just needs time to decompress. And with a little understanding and a LOT OF LOVE, this girl will be just fine! Contact a NEW HOPE RESCUE UNLESS you can PERSONALLY pick her up within 48 hours, if so you can reserve her up until noon TOMORROW! Please save her little life!

07/24/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPERIENCE
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Notes: Lita was brought to the care center as a stray so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies previous to what we are seeing during the evaluation. At the time of the assessment she was displaying fearful behavior; does not seek attention from the assessor and becomes alert when the kennel was open. Retreats as I started to get closer but after a steady slow approach using soft voices she relaxed a little and I was able to pet her and interact with her. I was also able to pick her up and although she was tense no fractious behavior was display. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents. Reaction to assessor: does not come to front , hisses When spoken quietly: does not come to front ,hisses Reaction to door cage opening: retreats Reaction to touch: warms up slowly, eventually rubs on hands Try picking cat up: Lita starts off tense but relaxes while being held Placement Determination: Experience
