SAFE 04/08/15 SAD AND SCARED GREY AND WHITE LITA NEEDS RESCUE ANGEL! Lita is a 1 year 6 mo precious pet who desperately needs us to advocate for her tonight. She came into the shelter as a stray surrender on 4/4 and didn’t show any aggressive behavior at the time of intake but naturally became fearful at the shelter so needs you to contact a NH rescue if you can help her. Lita may have a condition called “mammary gland hypertrophy” which is not malignant but she will require follow up vet care. Let’s offer this lovely little lady a new leash on life. Won’t you please be Lita’s rescue angel?

04/07/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – NH ONLY
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Notes: Lita was brought to the shelter as a stray so we don’t have any behavioral history previous to what we are seeing during the evaluation. She seems to not be thriving in this environment and at the time of the assessment Lita was displaying behaviors that prevent placement in the adoptions room and may require further investigation before placement in a home. She growls and is extremely fearful . Currently does not tolerate petting or handling. The behavior department feels that placement with a New Hope Partner is the best option at this time. Reaction to assessor: does not come to front but looks at you When spoken quietly: does not come to front but looks at you Reaction to door cage opening: remains motionless Reaction to touch: growls when touched Try picking cat up:Not tolerant of this type of handling. Placement Determination: NH
