Beautiful cream and white LINDY needs your love! This 8 year old love is a healthy boy at 8.0 pounds, is NEUTERED, and was brought to NYC animal control as a stray. He is very stressed in the shelter environment and although he allowed some petting, he is scared and needs the patience and love he deserves. Judging by his intake notes, he is not deserving of the “New Hope Only” rating he has received! He is not bearing weight on one hind leg and may have an injury that needs attention. Please give him the life he deserves! Apply to adopt or foster LINDY immediately as he does not have much time left! If you cannot adopt, please share his picture and story in the hopes that someone can save his life- he deserves better than to be dumped by humans at a noisy and crowded shelter where he cannot get the affection or attention he needs! PLEASE help LINDY to love again!

04/04/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – NH ONLY
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Lindy looke neutral in his cage when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Lindy remains crouched down on his cage bedding, alert with eyes wide open. Reaction to touch: Lindy accepts the stroke on his head but along the body he becomes agitated. He began to tail flick, hiss and swat at the rubs on the assessor’s hand. Placement determination: NH ONLY Lindy is displaying behaviors that preclude placement in the adoptions room. He is stressed in the shelter environment and does not currently tolerate petting. The behavior department feels that placement with a New Hope Partner is the best option at this time.
