***SAFE 08/06/15***PRECIOUS PAIR OF KITTENS NEED TLC AND YOU! Linda and Wings are a delightful duo of 13 week old kittens who desperately need their rescue angel tonight. These little babies are scared but sweet and tolerant of petting and handling but may do best in a home without kids. They are in decent condition and just need a little TLC and some good meals. They were tested for ringworm (which came up negative) and just need a special purrson to give them a chance at a happy new life. Could that special someone be you? Please open up your heart and home to this delicious duo. You can reserve them online or contact a NH rescue for assistance with transportation (available if you live within a few hours of NYC). And remember that fostering saves lives so let a rescue know if you can offer Linda and Wings temporary safe haven. This precious pair deserves a chance to grow up in a loving home. They deserve a chance to grow up—period. Please be their hero tonight.

08/03/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to Assessor: Linda was resting in her cage upon approach. She lifts her head and looks at the assessor with relaxed eyes when softly spoken to. Reaction to cage door opening: Linda becomes stiff and alert. Reaction to touch: Linda lowers her head and closes her eyes during the interaction. Her ears bend sideways, but she did not display any further reaction. Behavior Determination: Experience No Child Linda tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful or stressed in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. She may be a little more independent, and may need time to warm up to her new home. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in a calm, quiet home with experienced cat parents and without children.
