Lily was surrender because her previous owner is unable to care for her because of medical impairments. The owner initially found her on the street. The owner’s daughter has been caring for the cat for the following months however because of house size she wasn’t able to care for the cat any longer. Lily has been declawed on the front paws.” Lilly will need some TLC and needs a loving family who will provide that to her. Lilly is in urgent need of a home and only has until noon tomorrow to find placement before the unthinkable happens.

08/14/15 18:01 Basic information Lily is a 12 year old, grey and white female cat. Lily was surrender because her previous owner is unable to care for her because of medical impartments. The owner initially found her on the street. The owner’s daughter has been caring for the cat for the following months however because of house size she wasn’t able to care for the cat any longer. Lily has been declawed on the front paws. Lily has never had any health or medical issues. Two words that best described lily are independent and mellow. Socialization Lily has been are children ages 9-12. Lily has never actually played with children. Lily is very independent. She doesn’t actually plays with children or people. The cat does have experience around other cats however she keeps her distant and is respectful of space. Lily has no previous experience with dogs. Lily is litter box trained. Lily is an indoor and outdoor cat. Lily spends most of her time indoor however she has spent entire days outdoors and she’s come home when she’s hungry. Lily has a low activity level. She is best described as mellow and quiet. Behavior Lily is overall a well-behaved cat. She has never had any accidents outside of her litter nor has she ever bitten anyone or animal. When she is given a bath she tolerates with any objections before getting impatient. Lily also enjoys be a pet and brushed however, she will run away after a period of time. Because Lily does sleep outside she doesn’t has any issue of with movement around her sleeping area. For a new family to know Lily uses the pellet litter in a hooded litter box. Lily does not play with toys nor does she enjoy scratching post. Lily likes to keep to herself within the home. She didn’t actually have a lot of interaction with her previous owner. Lily prefers wet food because she does tend to throw up the harder foods.

Reaction to assessor: Lily remains calm, relaxed, and friendly upon approach. She meows by the front when softly spoken to. Reaction to cage door opening: Lily remains soft and relaxed. Reaction to touch: Lily remains in place, begins to purr, and lightly rubs her cheeks onto the assessor’s hand. Reacting to being picked up: Lily becomes tense, but allows handling. As per previous owner, Lily has been around children ages 9-12. She is very independent and isn’t very playful with children or adults. Around other cats, she keeps her distance and is respectful of space. She is an indoor/outdoor cat and spends most of her time indoors, but there are days where she spends the whole day outdoors and comes back home when she is hungry. She has been described as mellow and quiet with a low activity level. Behavior Determination: Average Lily interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. No known history of behavioral problems. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents.
